How We Use the Service
iN2L is a great resource, especially for our Memory Care Programs. At Waterstone on Augusta, we use a unique content system tailored for adults receiving memory care. First, iN2L allows us to connect residents with each other, as well as staff and family members. Additionally, the service allows us to employ a robust content library of over 4,000 items. We use this library to design programming that caters to residents’ unique purposes, passions, and interests. For example, if we’re working with a patient who has advanced dementia, we might design their routine around calming music available in iN2L. Conversely, if one of our patients is feeling lonely or isolated, we can help them connect with friends and family using the secure, senior-safe software.
