It may not be the most fun springtime activity, but keeping your living space organized and tidy is a great way to avoid injuries and make your life easier. So, what should you be focused on for your spring cleaning checklist?
General Spring Cleaning Tips
Before jumping into your spring cleaning, it’s a good idea to slow down and make a plan. Getting organized can keep you from getting overwhelmed and make sure your cleaning process is as successful as possible:
- Create a list of the rooms or areas you plan to tackle in your living space. Clean one area at a time, and don’t try to multitask.
- Pace your work in a way that makes sense for you. Spring cleaning doesn’t have to occur all in one day, and you’ll do a better job if you take your time.

- Sort through cosmetics and other bathroom products. Toss anything that is expired or unusable.

- If it’s been over a year since you’ve sorted through your wardrobe, take this opportunity to do so. Shoes and clothing that no longer fit but are in good shape can be donated to people who need them.
